Copy With References

Config Simplification

Named Configurations (Import/Export) 
  • With Named Configuration, you can easily create and organize collections of configuration items, including templates, task types, categories, searches, menus, and more.  
  • Say goodbye to manual merging and complex transfer processes between systems. Named Configuration allows you to seamlessly import and export configurations, making maintenance and deployment a breeze. 
Improved Attribute Labels

Plug-ins for Adobe 

Annotation Overlay 
  • Say goodbye to the time-consuming and screen-cluttering process of reviewing and incorporating comments on separate windows. With Annotation Overlay, designers can now effortlessly overlay PDF annotations on top of their original AI files, streamlining the feedback process like never before. 
Support for All Annotation Types 
  • In addition to the existing rectangle annotations, WebCenter now supports a range of new annotation types, including Oval, Line, Arrow, and Freehand annotations, empowering you with even greater flexibility and creativity in your feedback and collaboration process. 
Annotation Author Visibility 
  • The author of each annotation is now displayed alongside the annotation itself on the artwork, providing valuable context and improving collaboration and communication. 

Color Management 

(23.07) ColorCert Job Output Improvements 
  • Color strip output now respects the sequence of colors in WebCenter. 
(23.07) Pantone Live Color Book Renaming Improvements 
  • WebCenter now correctly recognizes and updates renamed book names when synchronizing colors from the cloud. 
(23.07) Color Thumbnail Regeneration on Update 
  • WebCenter can now trigger the creation of a new document thumbnail based on the updated color attributes, using a new JS API call. 

General Enhancements

Administrator Group Rights 
  • With our enhanced feature, allocating administrative rights has never been easier. Now, administrators can precisely assign specific admin permissions to user groups. No more settling for an all-or-nothing approach. You have the power to tailor admin access according to your needs! 
Expanded Keyword Search 
  • With Expanded Keyword Search, we have introduced the highly requested feature of searching for documents and tasks using Project Keywords. Now, finding the documents and tasks you need is easier and more versatile than ever before. Quickly locate the relevant documents that match your specific criteria. Whether you’re searching by project name, tags, or any other keyword, WebCenter has you covered. 
Audit Trails: Inclusion of Old Metadata Values 
  • WebCenter takes transparency and traceability to a whole new level. When attributes are modified, the audit trail provides you with a comprehensive record that not only showcases the new values but also displays the corresponding old values. This valuable information allows you to understand the full context of the changes made, facilitating a more informed decision-making process. 
  • Applies to project and document attributes as well as task specifications. 
Document Template Improvements 
  • More control and flexibility in choosing document templates in the UI/Dashboard framework. In previous versions, the default behavior was to automatically select a template that matched the file extension of the uploaded document. However, we have now expanded the options, allowing you to name a specific template or even choose not to use a template at all.

Content Sheet Approval 
  • Permissions for viewing, authoring, or approving text statements can now be driven globally and dynamically, simplifying your configuration, and improving performance. 
Nutrition Facts Handling 
  • Nutrition Facts is as much about layout as it is about content – it’s vital that you have clarity over what values go where. In this release, we’ve improved both the layout and the experience of editing content. Clarity will be yours! 

Content Management for Life Sciences (formerly Structured Content Management)

Improved Loading for Documents in Editor 
  • Enabling a good reuse model for structured content documents can require hundreds of different components to be loaded to read a document in the Editor. Now, you can get to reading up to 3x faster with “Just-in-Time” loading, where WebCenter loads the document while you read it. 
Show Outdated Content References in Outline 
  • Knowing which outdated references need reviewing is critical to realizing the value the reuse of structured data brings. In this release, we provide serenity by completing this journey, now including not just reused topics, but content reused from within.

  • ArtiosCAD now sends all case information directly to Cape Pack Cloud to quickly calculate pallet patterns. No need to install Cape Pack on the desktop of every designer’s computer.

What's New in Studio 23.07

Workflow Enhancements for Studio Toolkit 
  • Assign materials from your Presets to “burn” them into the non-printable parts of a model. This reduces round trips between Illustrator and Studio Toolkit, saving time and promoting consistency.  
  •  To visualize where artwork will occur on a model, you previously needed to save a PNG to disk for each printable part and then assign them individually to your model in Studio Toolkit. Now, this can all be done with a single click: previews of all open artworks will automatically be created and assigned to the model for viewing directly in Studio Toolkit. 
Metal Can Workflow with ArtPro+ 
  • Together with ArtPro+, we’ve added a distortion workflow for circular metal cans. These can types are printed flat and then deep drawn. The can model is created by revolving a profile in Studio Toolkit and a calculated grid file is used in ArtPro+ for artwork distortion.  
General Enhancements 
  • Updated Pantone Libraries: both Studio Visualizer and DeskPack have updated libraries for Pantone colors.
  • Models in the Shapes Store have been updated and optimized for raytraced rendering. 

What's New in Store Visualizer 23.07

Dynamic Ray-traced Reflections 
  • New environmentally based, hyper-realistic reflections for products, shelves and furniture deliver even more realism. 
Consumer Insights Enhancements 
  • Movement tracks and heatmaps now support multiple floors for multi-level environments. 
  • Replaying a data capture session will show all participant actions in real-time, including movements, viewing, and product picking. 
  • Action replays will automatically pick up products with which the participant interacted. 

What’s New in MediaBeacon 23.07

Add ability to choose column headers in Admin Core

  • Mediabeacon is now configured to add additional user fields like Company, Department, Address, City, Region, Email etc. as Filter headers. This can be used to arrange and filter the headers.

  • We have added Last Login Date that captures the last login date of all users.

  • MediaBeacon Administrators can generate a report (CSV, XML, Tab Delimited, Custom Delimited) with user details. This report will not only provide user details but also helps in finding Active and Inactive Users.

Data Block Search support

  • MediaBeacon now supports search of Data Block fields via the Advanced Search and REST API with the condition “Null” or “Not Null”. The search returns assets with or without Data block fields.

General Fixes

  • Filtering by folder tree now also includes the relative path not just the full path.
  • .webp files can be previewed.
  • Asset Check-Out option is available in the Adobe Connector for General Users.
  • Clicking Enter validates the form rules.
  • Rectified the dimension value issue in the newly uploaded assets.
  • The dimensions database field now displays valid information.
  • Uploading a folder to S3 with a trailing space is possible.
  • The password will be saved when the user republishes the External Portal.
  • Rectified the data issues in the metrics file.
  • Fixed the Aspera pop up window while dragging and dropping a new version upload.
  • Versioning an asset will not remove the Asset links.
  • The “Clear Invalid” button will now work on Permission Restrictions.
  • Bulk edit will not remove leading spaces while appending.
  • Selection size will be displayed on the cart.
  • File Size will be updated on a versioned asset.
  • Missing mandatory date field validation is now fixed .
  • The getTotalSearch() method issue in search is resolved .
  • Uploading assets to the selected folder will not create a separate folder structure.
  • Fixed the downloading or saving a new version of the. webp asset via Crop functionality.
  • Copying or moving the empty folder to an existing folder is fixed.
  • Rectified the Asset Pagination issue.
  • MediaBeacon loads after duplication of Themes.
  • MediaBeacon can filter by Index directory in the folder tree.
  • In Asset view Video assets play till the end.
